The best possible variation of both Noble Canyon and Laguna Meadows, this ride begins with a drop off at the Red-Tailed Roost Visitor Center. From there a mostly single track route drops into the Laguna Meadows where you can either just go straight across the meadows to begin the rest of the ride or do some loops around the lakes on somewhat flat terrain. This ride is a mostly downhill route, but there’s at least a thousand feet of climbing throughout the ride to keep your heart rate up. The terrain varies from very smooth to rocky and technical providing you a little bit of everything.
This “shuttle” ride requires at least two cars capable of transporting all the bikes. We leave one car at the mid-section of the Noble Canyon trail where Miner Rd, Pine Creek Rd and the Noble Canyon Trail offshoot to the road meet, and drive the other to the top.
There may be snow at the top during the winter. A forest adventure pass is required to park both at the top and bottom of this ride.
