Just got done with an awesome ride through Big Laguna and Noble Canyon! Mark was well prepared and super friendly which made the whole day go smoothly. I felt good knowing he had a satellite radio since we were in places without cell service and were riding rough terrain. I was able to focus on having a good time instead of worrying about logistics. I had the pleasure of finding Xen MTB tours online while searching for rides in the Palm Springs area for a vacation I was planning.

I corresponded with Mark the owner to gain information for a last minute planned ride in Palm Canyon. Mark was incredibly responsive and informative about how he operated, what to expect, and providing links to video's so I could actually see what I was getting myself into. I ride single track in NY, so the Southern CA desert is very different for me.

Mark was very accommodating regarding finding a bike, and actually offering to pick me up and drop me off at my friends place where I was going to be staying. All was set and ready to go until my flight from NY got canceled the day before we planned to ride. I could not make it out to PS in time to keep the plans.

I emailed Mark the afternoon before our ride from JFK airport in NY, and told him I was gong to have to cancel due to the fact my flight to PS just got canceled. I could not book a new flight until the next day. This messed up my entire itinerary so the ride would have to be another trip.

Mark refunded my payment in full, and was completely understanding. He was truly professional, and I was impressed and very happy he provided a full refund even with such a late cancellation.

Needless to say, I will be reaching out to Mark again in the future when I can schedule another trip to see the Palm Canyon on the back of a MTB.

I had a great day out mountain biking with Mark in Malibu Creek State Park last month.

I was in Malibu on holiday and Mark was hugely helpful in providing details for bike hire and providing extra equipment above what I could carry in my suitcase.

Mark was also hugely accommodating with me when I asked to make a rearrangement of the date. Thank you!

The ride in Malibu Creek State Park was fabulous, saw the MASH filming site and climbed climbed climbed to reach magnificent views.

I always felt safe and well looked after.

Mark was a great guide around the trails of Laguna Coast. I signed up for a half day of riding and he pointed me to the Path bike shop in Tustin to rent a bike. I got a great deal of $42 for a Giant XTC 29er for the day as long as it was returned by 5pm. The trails were a mix of singletrack and fire roads with some good climbing and rocky descents (not too technical).

Mark was really good company and we spent a good deal of the ride chatting. He knows the area really well and is able to find a route appropriate to your level. I'd have liked to have gone a bit further but was constrained by the bike store's opening times. All in all a great day out and would recommend to others.

A group of us get together once a year to ride for a few days. This year it was SoCal and Mark was our guide. The riders in our group have a veriety of skills and conditioning so Mark picked great trails to fit our riding style. He organized a shuttle at the end of one trail so we could enjoy a really fun downhill. We didn't have to worry about the logistics and had a great time thanks to Mark. Having some pictures and Strava maps after the ride was an extra nice bonus.

Mark rides with any style, any level. Very easy-going guy, perfect personalty for guiding groups. Absolutely loved our two days together and will be back for more!

My friends and I meet once a year for mountain biking trip for a few days and this time we decided to use a guide to help us. Mark was great in every aspect, he gave us recommendations where to rent a place, where to rent our bikes and where to have lunch before we arrived. Trails that he picked for us where perfect for our level and Mark was a grate guide. Plus he took pictures along the ride and shared with us. Highly recommend and will use Mark next time, when we decide to ride in the area.

Let me begin by saying that Mark is a terrific teacher and advocate for mountain biking. I am a Beginner who came to the area for work and was looking for some stress-relief. If you are looking to get your mind off of the daily grind of your job, then book a ride with Mark. I contacted him on his website and in minutes he had arranged for an amazing half-day course near where I was staying in Pasadena. He made it super easy on me by coming to my hotel at which point we headed to the bike shop and got my rental bike. After I was having a bit of a hard time on the first planned course, he was very understanding and didn't give up on making sure that I got the work-out and stress-free day that I wanted. He found another trail in the same area that suited me much better. I had an amazing time on both courses. He was right there behind me throughout my entire ride making me feel supported. He also taught me a bunch of great biking lessons in a fun way. I can't wait to get back on a bike. In summary, if you are person who is looking for some stress-relief or looking to do something new in Southern California, contact Mark at Xen MTB and you will not be disappointed.

East Coaster out for some mountain biking on the West Coast! Had an awesome time with XEN MTB. Warm up at Laguna Meadows, a ride up Noble Canyon, and then the most exciting downhill ever! If you're in town and not familiar with the trails or a mountain biker that wants to learn some new stuff or you just want a riding buddy.. this is for you!

Mark has a very vast knowledge of MTB trails. He led 4 of us on a tour at the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park that was beautiful. We had a group of riders with mixed experience levels and he catered it perfectly to accommodate every one as best as possible. The trails he chose challenged the guys at times and when those times did arise, Mark hung back with us girls to make sure were got through it safely. We loved going to through the winding single tracks that were surrounded by trees and had a creek on one side...what a beautiful trail and park. Thanks Mark for the tour.

New to mountain biking in LA, and wasn't sure what to expect on the trails here. Mark was _awesome_ Chose the perfect route to get me back into it, with gorgeous views and great trails. Really fun ride, helpful riding tips, super knowledgeable about the trails, safety, bike maintenance, the whole deal. Highly recommend. Was a blast.

Mark (the owner) is a very responsible guide who thinks of everything you need to ensure you will have a great ride. He knows how to repair the broken bikes on the road and takes enough breaks when need it. He has a lot of experience riding the trails.

I've ridden with Mark as a guide on many rides in and around Orange County and it has always been a GREAT experience.

One that stands out was to Santiago Oaks. I had only had my 29er for a couple weeks and truthfully, this ride was a bit over my head at the time, but it turned out to be a great day. We saw tons of great scenery, grinded up and down many tough singletrack trails and generally had a blast. Along the way Mark helped me with both technique and also what my bike needed to make the climbs easier (my bottom gear was too high), which really got me going into the sport.

I'd ride with Mark and Xen anytime and you should too.

Mark is the guy that started it all. For many riders we all started riding w Mark. He always posted great rides, with details of the ride and skill requiremt. On the ride he was always helpful to everyone and never left anyone behind. His experience in bike mechanics has save probably hundreds of riders from walking home. First aid was always available for minor cuts. You can feel comfortable riding with him, because he knows his stuff, whether location wise or riding related. For first timers and people not acquainted with an area and experience riders, Mark will make a safe and fun ride.

I have ridden with Mark Warrick on numerous rides on San Juan Trail, SART, Big Bear, Cannell Plunge, Palm Canyon, Mt. Pinos and we have spent a considerable amount of time in the San Gabriel Mountains, near Los Angeles. I have always received top notch guidance and our rides are the sort of adventure that I look for in mountain biking. Mark always takes into account weather conditions and schedules the rides accordingly.
